Riot Games has announced the Valorant ONE Pro Invitational Japan. The OFF//SEASON tournament agenda will be held at the Yokohama Arena with a capacity of 17,000 spectators on December 23-24. DRX, Paper Rex, and FNATIC are present as invitational teams to join domestic teams ZETA DIVISION and DetonatioN Gaming.
The ONE Pro Invitational will be part of the Riot Games series of events in Japan to mark the end of the year. Carrying the concept of “Games, Fans, Riot, As ONE”, various events will be held to bring fans, communities, and partners together.
The Riot Games ONE Pro Invitational will be a historic event as it is the first international VALORANT event to be held in Asia. Organizers anticipate that around 20,000 people will attend the two-day event at the Yokohama Arena which has once held major concerts, including BTS, Blackpink, EXO and most recently NCT Dream, which is coming later this month.
The main stage will feature ZETA DIVISION and DetonatioN Gaming in a series of exhibition matches, against all three overseas teams in a best-of-one format. Plus, this will be the first chance for fans to see DetonatioN Gaming’s new roster in action.
