The Doctor of Economics and National Deputy for Avanza Libertad, José Luis Espert, launched his candidacy for the governorship of the province of Buenos Aires in a massive act and presented the axes of his government plan, emphasizing the fight against the mafias, security for the people of Buenos Aires and a profound tax reform that will allow people to save 30% of taxes.
“We have a great challenge to put the province where it should be. You have to bring light to the darkness. During the last years we have returned to barbarism. Poverty, marginality, crime, drug, pauperization, misery. We need order and progress. In addition, sewers, education, connectivity, drinking water, pavements, routes, trains. This has to be given by reason or by force. It is about rebuilding what our founding fathers of the glorious Generation of 80 started and that damned populism destroyed, ”said Espert in his speech before thousands of young people, political leaders, councilors from his space and liberal militants.
Espert was determined to fight crime in the streets and also give a tough battle to the mafias that are scattered in different sectors of the province. “Among Buenos Aires we understand each other. Every thing we want to change in our Province has a mafia inside. It will not be an easy road. But we are going to fight: in Education: Enough Baradel. Stop fucking with our boys. In construction, it is enough for the heirs of the Pata Medina of tightening. In our IOMA, we are going to extirpate ATE, SUTEBA and UPCN from its management to achieve a transformation and transparency that will turn it into a true competitive social work”, said Espert.
The maximum referent of Avanza Libertad assured that together with his team of professionals he is working on an important fiscal reform that will have as its axis decentralization and, fundamentally, the autonomy of the municipalities. “The people of Buenos Aires don’t give up paying taxes. In the province (and in the country) we have reissued a new form of slavery, the tax form: those of us who are blank in the province work more than half the year just to pay taxes (we collect our salary or income through a window and the other, during 6 months out of 12 that the year has, we deliver it in its entirety to AFIP and ARBA).
That is why Espert proposes the elimination of more than 1,000 rates and various taxes, including the automobile tax in the province of Buenos Aires (Patent), the Stamp Tax, the Tax on the Free Transfer of Goods, the Tax on Port Services and the Complementary of Rural and Residential Real Estate. “Let it be very clear: we will not defund the province because we will drastically lower provincial public spending: the roles and functions of public employees will be audited to kick the gnocchi out,” he said.
And he added: “We will present ourselves before the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation so that AFIP stops charging the Income and Personal Property Tax in the province because the national government violates subsection 2 Art 75 of the CN that says that the direct taxes, the Nation can only collect them temporarily. However, Earnings has been charging it for 90 years and Personal Assets for more than 30 years.”
The councilors of Avanza Libertad were present at the launch: Valeria Rodríguez and Juan Martín Barrionuevo (Bahía Blanca); Constanza Darchez and Jorge Mariño (Vicente López); Juan Martín Tito (Pilar) and Analía Balaudo (General Villegas). The presidents of the political parties and groups that are part of Avanza Libertad: Dr. Gonzalo Masilla de Souza (UCEDE), Arch. Hugo Bontempo (UCEDE PBA), Daniel Iturralde (PAN) and Lic. Luis Green (United Republicans).
In addition, he was accompanied by the technical and professional teams: Carlos Altieri (Dairy Industry), Dr. Julio Arriete (Health), Dr. Jorge Avila (Fiscal Federalism), Lic. Mario Cairella (Energy), Lic. Ramiro Castiñiera (Economic Consulting) , Prof. Ana Clementi (Education), Prof. Luis Distefano (Education), Roberto Duran (Justice and Security), Lic. Oscar Liberman (Economics), Eng. Ricardo Lopez Anadon (Rio Santiago Shipyards), Commander General Carlos Matos ( Security), Public Council Margarita Mc Load (Education), Overseas and Fishing Captain Daniel Molina Carranza (Fishing), Dr. Juan Carlos Parodi (Health and Social Assistance), Dr. Alejandro Rodriguez (Currency and Finance), Dr. Marcelo Romero (Justice and Security), Lic. Mario Salinardi (Fiscal Federalism), Eng. Héctor Sottosanto (Infrastructure and Urban Planning), Osvaldo Simieles (Agricultural Policy) and Dr. Pablo Torres Barthe (Legal Advice).
“Merit does not stigmatize, but rather gives us tools to take advantage of the opportunities that life gives us. That is our philosophy summed up in effort and work. That is why, to close, I want to bring you peace of mind and tell you, as I did in the 2019 presidential debates, Argentina has a future, that future is liberal and it has already begun”, Espert harangued at the end of his speech.
