Without heated grips, your hands can take a beating when riding a motorcycle in the colder months. You are exposed to the full force of the elements and your fingers are often the first part of your body to feel the cold.
Warm hands are not just a matter of comfort, they also contribute to your safety. Numb, stiff fingers and hands affect your ability to control your bike, reduce reaction times and reduce your ability to act quickly in an emergency.
More and more new bikes are coming factory fitted with heated grips, but many bikes still don’t come with this important feature. So we need to look to the aftermarket to stay safe and warm.
Luckily, Ultimateaddons has one of the best solutions we’ve come across. Its advanced heated grips have all the qualities of an OEM grip with a sleek integrated controller, five temperature settings and arguably one of the hottest grips on the market, quickly topping 50C in under five minutes.
Unlike most aftermarket motorcycle heated grips that have a separate controller, Ultimateaddons heated grips feature an integrated switch in the left grip in the form of a single button that allows you to conveniently cycle through the five different heat settings while you are on the motorcycle go.

The five temperature settings make them practical for year-round use, as even a light rain on a warm summer night can cut through your lightweight gloves and chill your hands.
The handy LED light shows a different color for each temperature setting, from blue for the lowest setting to red for the warmest, making it easy to see what temperature the grips are set to.
The replacement grips are 22mm in diameter (the standard size for almost all bikes) and are either 120mm or 130mm long to accommodate different handlebar configurations.
While you can install these grips directly to the bike’s battery, we strongly recommend connecting them to the live feed to ensure they don’t draw power when the bike is off. This mounting method requires some knowledge of electrical wiring. So if you are not familiar with your bike’s electrical system, we recommend that you take it to a motorcycle workshop to avoid breakdowns.
If you feel confident enough to install it yourself, you should expect the installation to complete in around 1.5 hours. There is also a battery level sensor built into the grips that will automatically turn them off in case of any installation issues to prevent them from draining the battery.
If you ride year round these heated grips are a great investment and you’ll soon be wondering why you didn’t install a set sooner.
